		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims: &lt;/strong&gt;The spine is one of the most important organs in the human body, playing a vital role in the stability and movement of the body. Inappropriate behaviors such as poor posture, a sedentary lifestyle, and improper backpack use can damage the spine. Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) is a theoretical framework that examines the influence of cognitive, behavioral, and environmental factors on behavior. This study aimed to investigate the effect of SCT-based educational programs on spine care behavior in undergraduate students of Torbat Heydarieh University of Medical Sciences in 2023-202.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; This study will be a randomized controlled trial in which 100 undergraduate students of Torbat Heydarieh University of Medical Sciences (THMUS) will be randomly assigned to two groups of intervention and control. The intervention group will participate in an SCT-based educational program. The control group will receive no educational intervention. The content of the educational program will include topics such as the importance of spine care, proper posture, physical activity, and proper backpack use. The educational program will be delivered in 10 sessions of 90 90-minute periods. Spine care behavior will be assessed using the spine care behavior questionnaire at two time points before intervention and 6-month follow-up.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings: &lt;/strong&gt;The findings of this study are anticipated to suggest that the educational programs will be effective in improving spine care behavior in students. These findings will then be used to design more effective educational programs in this area.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; This instrument could be applied to evaluate unhealthy behavior due to neck pain and so improve these risky behaviors.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) can significantly impact a patient&#039;s Quality of Life (QoL) and lead to challenges in accepting their illness. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) has shown promise in improving psychological well-being in various populations. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of MBCT on illness acceptance and QoL in patients with SCI.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; A quasi-experimental pre-test post-test with a control group design was employed. The study population consisted of all female and male patients with SCI in Ahvaz City in 2023. Thirty patients with SCI (15 patients per group) from Ahvaz City, Iran, were recruited in 2023 through convenient sampling. Participants completed the Illness Acceptance and Quality of Life questionnaires at pre-test and post-test. The experimental group received eight 90-minute MBCT sessions. Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used to analyze the data.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings:&lt;/strong&gt; Significant differences were found between the experimental and control groups in illness acceptance and QoL scores at post-test (P&lt;0.01). The MBCT intervention led to improvements in both aspects for the experimental group.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;This study suggests that MBCT can be an effective intervention for improving illness acceptance and QoL in patients with SCI. Further research with larger samples and longer follow-up periods is warranted.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; This case study aims to manage the post-operative complications in a patient with excessive ankle stiffness using Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Faradic Electrical Stimulation (FES) and investigate the effects on knee and hip kinematics during gait.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; A 41-year-old female with post-operation complications including decreased right ankle Range of Motion (ROM) and strength, underwent a 12-week of IASTM and FES. Gait analysis was performed before and after the intervention. Knee and hip angles and velocities in 3 dimensions were measured using a motion analysis system before and after the intervention.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings:&lt;/strong&gt; Results showed increased knee adduction, decreased peak knee external rotation at the late swing phase, increased peak frontal plane knee velocity, frontal and transverse plane hip excursion, and peak velocities in the transverse and frontal plane.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; A 12-week IASTM and FES can improve knee and hip gait mechanics in a patient with excessive ankle stiffness.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and tenderness in localized areas. The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on pain anxiety, perfectionism, and aggression among women diagnosed with fibromyalgia.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials: &lt;/strong&gt;The current research design was semi-experimental with a pretest-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research included women with fibromyalgia in Ardabil province of Iran in 2024. In this study, 34 women with fibromyalgia were selected through purposive sampling and divided into experimental (n=17) and control (n=17) groups. The experimental group participated in eight 90-minute sessions of ACT, while the control group did not undergo any intervention. Data collection involved administering the assessment Pain Anxiety Symptoms Scale (PASS), Perfectionism Inventory (PI), and Eysenck Aggression Questionnaires (EAQ). The collected data were then analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance in SPSS-27.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings: &lt;/strong&gt;The results showed that ACT significantly decreases cognitive (F=41.42, P=0.001, η2=0.61), avoidance (F=37.21, P=0.001, η2=0.59), fear (F=54.71, P=0.001, η2=0.68), physiological anxiety (F=46.72, P=0.001, η2=0.64), perfectionism (F=63.20, P0.001, η2=0.71), and aggression (F=52.11, P=0.001, η2=0.66) in women with fibromyalgia.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;This research offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of ACT in enhancing psychological well-being among women diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Subsequent studies should delve deeper into the enduring effects of ACT and its viability within comprehensive treatment strategies for fibromyalgia, striving to deliver tailored and holistic care for individuals grappling with this complex condition&lt;br&gt;</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; To compare Ultrasonography (USG) with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in the evaluation of lesions causing impairment of mobility of the shoulder joint.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; This study was a cross-sectional observational study. Sonographic examination of the shoulder was done using a linear high-frequency probe (7.5-15 MHz) on a Siemens machine, and MRI evaluation was performed on a 3T Siemens Skyra machine. Data was analyzed using standard statistical methods, and results were compared with Arthroscopy where possible.According to the inclusion criteria, the patients of all age groups presenting with symptoms of shoulder pain or restricted movement referred from the department of orthopedics were studied.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings:&lt;/strong&gt; Fifty patients were included in the study. Sensitivity and specificity of USG in comparison with MRI for diagnosing supraspinatus, subscapularis, infraspinatus, and long head of biceps tendon pathologies in our study were 95.4%, 100%, 66.6%, and 100%, 60% and 100%, 80%, and 100%, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of USG for detecting AC joint arthropathy were 88.2% and 100%, respectively, in our study. The Sensitivity and specificity of USG were 82.7% and 100%, respectively, in detecting Subacromial Subdeltoid bursitis (SASD), which was similar to other studies in the literature.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;This study revealed that USG has good sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic accuracy in diagnosing rotator cuff tendon tears and tendinosis, as well as for the diagnosis of Acromioclavicular (AC) joint arthroplasty. Moreover, it is a non-invasive technique, readily available, and cost-effective. MRI is the best modality for diagnosing laborligamentous pathologies at the shoulder. &lt;br&gt;</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims: &lt;/strong&gt;The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between pain metaphorical perception and quality of life with pain intensity in musculoskeletal patients.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials: &lt;/strong&gt;This was a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population of this study included all musculoskeletal patients in Tehran. In this study, 250 candidates were selected via the at-reach method in 2024. They completed three questionnaires: Chronic Pain Intensity (1992), Pain Metaphorical Perception (2023), and Quality of Life (1996).  For data analysis, SPSS-26 was used.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings:&lt;/strong&gt; The results showed that the correlation coefficient of pain intensity with pain metaphorical perception was significant (r=0.46) (P&lt;0.01). The relationship between quality of life and pain intensity was negative and meaningful (r = -0.29) (P&lt;0.05). Moreover, 9.6% of the pain intensity variance was explained by the pain metaphorical perception, and 4.5% was explained by the quality of life.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; It is suggested to investigate specific conceptual metaphors of musculoskeletal pain in future studies. It is also recommended that specialists in this field, physicians, health psychologists, etc., pay attention to the role of metaphors in improving the quality of life of patients with severe pain.</Abstract>
