		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; Dysmenorrhea is a common menstrual disorder characterized by painful uterine contractions, which often leads to absenteeism from school and decreased productivity.  &lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials: &lt;/strong&gt;This article provides an overview of primary dysmenorrhea and its impact on female adolescents, emphasizing the significance of pain management strategies. The prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea affects approximately 70% of young women globally, underlining its public health implications. The article explores various risk factors, including biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle influences that contribute to dysmenorrhea. Additionally, it discusses the common practice of self-medication among adolescents, primarily through the use of over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and the potential risks associated with improper use. Effective management strategies, such as physical exercise, dietary modifications, and psychological interventions, are highlighted as essential components in alleviating menstrual pain. The importance of health education, particularly in school settings, is emphasized to improve awareness, promote healthy lifestyle practices, and foster a supportive environment for adolescent girls.  &lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;This comprehensive approach aims to enhance the overall quality of life while addressing the specific health challenges faced by females during their critical developmental years. Ultimately, investing in the health and well-being of adolescent girls is vital for fostering future generations and advancing national progress.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; Cryolipolysis is a successful non-invasive technique for reducing fat, offering a potential alternative for non-surgical body sculpting. This research conducts a thorough assessment of the existing data, focusing specifically on cryolipolysis-induced pain.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; A thorough search of electronic databases of PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus was carried out in this systematic review to find relevant studies published until July 2024. The search strategy used terms linked to Cryolipolysis and pain, like &quot;pain&quot; and &quot;cryolipolysis&quot;. The studies were evaluated for their methodological quality, and the findings were combined to give a summary.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings:&lt;/strong&gt; In this review, 130 articles were obtained in the initial literature search. Following the application of inclusion criteria and the identification of additional articles through a manual review of references, 16 studies were chosen for review. The studies covered a variety of populations and research types, like randomized controlled trials, prospective cohort studies, case series, and case reports. The findings of this review indicated that a variety range of pain in the treated area is commonly felt during and after the procedure.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; Patients may experience pain and discomfort during and after the cryolipolysis procedure. By following recommended pain management strategies, they can achieve satisfactory results with minimal discomfort.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims: &lt;/strong&gt;The primary objective of this study was to systematically review the existing literature on quadriceps femoris muscle activity, as measured by sEMG, in healthy adult males during common strength exercises.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials: &lt;/strong&gt;This systematic review used the PRISMA guidelines. Original research articles published up to December 2023 were retrieved from the PubMed/Medline, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. The inclusion criteria required studies to (a) be available in full-text English, (b) utilize cross-sectional or longitudinal study designs (experimental or cohort), (c) report electromyography activity as a percentage of Maximal Voluntary Isometric Contraction (%MVIC), (d) analyze Rectus Femoris (RF), Vastus Lateralis (VL), and Vastus Medialis (VM) muscles, (e) focus on resistance training exercises as the primary intervention, (f) be published within the last ten years, and (g) include healthy adult male participants.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings: &lt;/strong&gt;The review results indicated that the VL was the most frequently studied quadriceps muscle across different exercises. Notably, the leg press demonstrated the highest activation levels for both the VL and VM, while the Spanish squat elicited the highest activation for the RF. Additionally, the deadlift showed substantial activation of the VL, though to a lesser extent than the leg press.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; These findings highlight the importance of exercise selection for targeting specific quadriceps muscles during strength training. Furthermore, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of sEMG data, it is critical to establish standardized methodological criteria for its use.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims: &lt;/strong&gt;The relationship between chronic pain and depression has been argued in many studies. Previous documents have shown that psychological factors have a significant role in the adjustment to and coping with chronic pain. This research was done to assess whether musculoskeletal pain could predict depression and psychological capital.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; This descriptive study was done among 108 students of the psychology and counseling department of the West Tehran Branch of Azad University in Tehran, Iran. These students began their studies in 2018. To collect data, the eligible student completed three standard questionnaires, including Pain Intensity Assessment (VAS), McGee&#039;s Psychological Capital Questionnaire, and Beck&#039;s depression questionnaire (2-BDI-II). The gathered data were entered into SPSS 24 and analyzed through descriptive and analytical tests.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings&lt;/strong&gt;: The results of Pearson&#039;s correlation coefficient test and multiple regression analysis showed that there is a positive and direct relationship between depression and musculoskeletal pain (r=0.34). This means that as depression increases in students, musculoskeletal pain also increases. Moreover, there is a negative and inverse correlation between psychological capital and musculoskeletal pain in the self-efficacy subscale, with the lowest coefficient (r=-0.31), and in the resilience subscale, with the highest coefficient (r=-0.41). This means that the weaker the psychological capital, the more musculoskeletal pain. Furthermore, depression and psychological capital predict musculoskeletal pain in students.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;This study revealed that to improve musculoskeletal pain, appropriate interventions to decrease depression and increase psychological capital should be done. &lt;br&gt;</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; Since physical performance is one of the important parts of health, proper evaluation of people&#039;s performance is so important, as it helps the rehabilitation team to choose the best methods to improve performance. Involving all the muscles and joints, jumping is an activity used to evaluate performance. The accelerometer is an instrument that has recently been considered in the field of performance evaluation for some reasons, like being economical, accessible, and the ability to replace expensive tools in the health system. This article reviews some studies that use accelerometers to evaluate the performance of the neuromuscular system.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; Keywords were searched in PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases to find studies on the reliability and validity of accelerometers in jump performance from 2010 to January 2024.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings:&lt;/strong&gt; In calculating most variables, including jump height, flight time, contact time, stiffness, force, power, and reactive strength index of countermovement, squat, and drop jumps, studies have revealed high validity and reliability for this device. In calculating peak power and peak velocity, the accelerometer has low validity and reliability, though.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; Under the ground, the fact that the accelerometer is a valid and reliable instrument in evaluating most jump performance variables, it may be counted as a useful instrument. Rehabilitation teams, physical medicine, and sports medicine specialists would use this device to evaluate musculoskeletal system performance; Therefore, they will be able to adjust, modify, and finally improve the rehabilitation program for patients or athletes and thus promote health in society.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Aims:&lt;/strong&gt; This study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy on the pain metaphorical perception in patients with chronic pain.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Method and Materials:&lt;/strong&gt; The study method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design and control group. The population was all people with chronic pain in the first six months of 2024 in Tehran. Accordingly, 45 patients with chronic pain were selected voluntarily and randomly assigned to intervention and control groups (each group n=15). The Questionnaire of the study was Raiisi`s Pain Metaphorical Perception. The first experimental group received eight sessions of 90-minute cognitive-behavioral therapy, but the second group received eight sessions of 90-minute dialectical behavior therapy.  The control group did not receive any intervention. The data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance by SPSS-26.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Findings: &lt;/strong&gt;The results indicated that cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy significantly increased components of pain metaphorical perception (object, force, human, and causality) in patients with chronic pain (P&lt;0.001).&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;The findings of this research emphasized the effectiveness of cognitivebehavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy on the pain metaphorical perception. As a result, by changing the metaphors of pain in patients, the interpretation of pain can be changed.</Abstract>
